Parent FAQ
Does my child need prior golf experience?
No. Our program is designed for all skill levels, from beginners to experienced junior golfers.
Do kids need their own golf clubs?
Yes, participants should bring their own clubs if possible. If this is a concern, please contact us in advance so we know to set aside clubs for them. We are also partnered with Youth on Course Minnesota and have rental clubs available if needed.
What should my child wear?
Comfortable athletic clothing, tennis shoes or golf shoes, and a hat. Golf attire is encouraged but not required.
What happens in the case of inclement weather?
If a class is canceled due to weather, the make-up date will be August 4, 2026.
Will kids get on the golf course?
Yes! On-course instruction and play are incorporated, especially in later weeks.
How many students per group?
Groups are kept small to ensure quality instruction so every golfer receives individual guidance, feedback, and support.
Is this program safe for beginners?
Absolutely. We prioritize safety, structure, and encouraging coaching in every one of our lessons.
What time and location are the drop-off and pickup?
Drop-off and pick-up will take place at the pro shop flagpole. Please arrive at least 5 minutes early for drop-off. We ask that parents pick up promptly at the end of class, but we understand that busy schedules can make this difficult. If you expect to be a few minutes late, please let the head instructor know at drop-off.
What should I do if my child is going to miss class?
We take attendance each morning, so please let us know if your child will be absent. We understand busy schedules, and any missed lessons will be noted so they can catch up.
